“You will do yourself a disservice if you do not get a quote on your cabinets from Raleigh Premium Cabinets. Ted does not offer a wide range of cabinet styles and finishes, so you may not find exactly what you want. But he does offer really high quality cabinets at an astonishingly low price. And Ted is the kind of man you can do business with on a handshake. He does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it. No hassle.

I got really great looking cabinets from Ted, with top-quality drawer slides and hinges, furniture grade plywood (7 ply) construction, plus I got top quality granite countertops from the vendor recommended by Ted (NCO Custom Marble and Granite), all for less than the “discount” price quoted by a Big-Box store for lower quality cabinets.

Full story: I worked out my kitchen plan, based on the cabinet sizes offered by KraftMaid and Thomasville. I went to the Big-Box store to get a quote, with a budget of $10,000 in mind. After pricing the various options, I settled for the basic KraftMaid cabinets (all particle board construction) with an upgrade price for finish. The quote came in at over $17,000, which was promptly discounted down to just under $13,000. I must say here that I really don’t trust this way of doing business. I feel this is just a sales gimmick to make you feel like you are getting a really good deal, when maybe you really aren’t. I much prefer to get a quote that says here is what you get and this is what it costs. That is the way Ted does business.

Anyway, I decided to get a second opinion and ended up talking with Raleigh Premium Cabinets. Ted does not offer a finish that is precisely the color I had selected, but he had one that was close and it really looks nice. Ted also did not offer precisely the cabinet door style I had selected, but he had one that was close. Ted did not offer the 39″ height for the wall cabinets that I had selected, but 36″ is close enough. We put together a list of the cabinets I would need and Ted sat down and figured up a quote – almost exactly 50% of the non-discounted quote for lower quality cabinets from the Big-Box store. I accepted Ted’s quote on the spot.

Now for the extras: I needed 27″ deep base cabinets for the island. Ted included this in the price. Ted swapped out the standard drawer slides for better quality slides – included in the price. Delivery was made just 13 days after I placed my order – included in the price.

I must say that I was suspicious. I figured, at Ted’s prices, there had to be a catch somewhere. But I couldn’t spot one. And now that I have the cabinets in hand, I have to say there isn’t one.

Do yourself a favor. Talk to Raleigh Premium Cabinets before you place an order somewhere else. I’m sure glad I did.

From the quote to the install this team did a fantastic job! My cabinets are beautiful and about half the quote I received from the local big box supplier! At this price I was able to add crown molding, rope twist trim, wine rack and a new island! Soft closures!! Highly recommend!

Best home improvement experience I have ever had. Ted made this whole process a great experience. He responded very quickly. He had a good eye to help us determine what type of cabinets would work best for our laundry room. He had samples on-hand to show us the high qualify of his cabinets that we had heard about as well as the color choices. His prices were great – well below the other stores we had looked at – and quality of his was higher. The cabinets are installed and look awesome. We are already planning to re-do the kitchen next and will definitely be using Ted again! I would highly recommend this company!

I want you to know how very very happy Tony and I are – not only with the cabinets but also with David and Ray (installers) Those guys were fabulous!!! Every issue they encountered, they solved with no complaints. Even when they discovered the floor was off by 2 inches!!!! Even when they installed the crown molding on a sloped ceiling – what a great job! And I enjoyed their company each day. They are friendly but hardworking. They insisted on cleaning up everything – even the area where they set up the table saw outside!!!! David explained anything and everything we asked and helped me tremendously with a couple of design questions. Even more important to me was the fact that he listened to my suggestions as well. He definetly wanted to make sure I was a happy customer and I truly am. It is rare to find a company that works so hard to please their customers. The fact that you were so willingly to work with us to swap cabinets and add cabinets as needed speaks volumes about you and your company. With all the other remodeling work we have already done, I know for a fact that this attitude is rare. We love the cabinets. We were so frustrated by the quality of the cabinets we saw on the market and/or the prices. The day we walked into your showroom, I was holding my breath because I expected the price to be so much more just based on the beautiful cabinets displayed. We were probably the fastest and easiest sale you ever made (ha ha ) but only because we had already investigated so very many options. And they have the soft close!! I played with the cabinets so much that my sister told me that I needed to stop doing that before David and Ray thought something was wrong with me!!!

After getting quotes from MANY area distributors we were resigning ourselves to the fact that we were going to have to settle for poor quality apt. grade cabinets for our kitchen renovation project. After meeting with Ted those fears were eliminated. Pricing that cant be beat and flexibility and patience with our requests. This company made us excited about our project again. Our cabinets are installed and we are getting non-stop compliments on their quality and looks. Will recommend them to everyone I know.

We bought our kitchen cabinets from Ted and we are absolutely love our cabinets. Ted was awsome to work with. We have been looking at cabinets everywhere and Ted’s were 50% less than anybody else. Ted owner of Raleigh Premium Cabinets was absolutely great to work with. I was a bit slow in choosing the cabinet face, and each time I changed my mind Ted left me a cabinet face to keep in my home so I could ponder for a bit longer. He never pushed me to move faster, but was always available to meet and talk about the design, or give me a cost estimate for comparison. When we finally decided on what we wanted he was quick to schedule the install, he made sure I got exactly what I wanted, even trading standard cabinets out for the right size on the day of the install. Danny, the installer, did a very professional job and was a pleasure to have around. One drawer didn’t work properly a week later and both Ted and Danny came back out and it works perfectly now.
